After 20 years, Francesco had developed his culinary skills by cooking in both Italy and France. He had gone to school Culinary school at the Culinary Institute of America and was a teacher there for 8 years. He has worked in many different kitchens across Europe and has balanced being a professor, teacher, and restaurant helper.
2. Style: Francesco's visual characteristics include food. He does many different types of foods and are in different categories including the types of food it is that he photographs. All of Francesco's food ranges from healthy nutritious foods to delicious and absolutely amazing desserts and even has different international and exotic foods he makes. Francesco uses so many different types of ways of taking pictures of his work. The way he creates his work is unbelievable. Francesco makes his works very creative and come to life. He adds amazing detail to his pictures which gives them more emphasis and emotion to his work. He thinks of many ways to create his work and adds different patterns to his work and creates them in different kinds of views dealing with angles and perspectives. He also takes pictures of companies products and uses that as part of his work. He also tries to incorporate the beauty, balance and composition with his work.
3. Philosophy: His major ideas had come from mostly his mother. his mother had grown up on the farm in central Italy and had done work on the farm and understood the aspects of food making from harvesting crops to making olive oil. Francesco had enjoyed the way his mother cooked and would watch her use different ingredients and become familiar with them and began to fall in love with cooking. He also became in love with cooking because he just had a passion for it and knew the understanding of it by watching his mom and growing up with that. Also socially he became more interested in doing photography. He had worked with magazines and this had caught his interest in doing photography. He had worked with different professional chefs that also made him want to work more in photography. With his work he is trying to show the beauty and different types of ways to make food very beautiful and colorful and also tries to make his work for someone who truly understands food.
4. Influence: Francesco has influenced me in my work by making my piece very unique and different. When cooking it can be so simple and pretty easy but he has taught me to look more closer into cooking, see different ways you can make the piece into. He also has made me think very differently with the perspective of food and the angles it can be turned into. Also he has made me find detail in the works and show emphasis in them. Francesco has also showed the combinations you can use when cooking such as using different objects that go into the works that may not even seem like they would go well. Lastly, he has influenced me to just be creative and think outside the box and just discovering something that seems simple and making it into something even more greater than what it is and more beautiful.

6. Compare and Contrast: These images are fairly close to being similar. For my untitled 2 picture with Goldfish it is going through the same direction as the first picture of untitled picture 1 but it is on a plate and there are fewer Goldfish than the first Goldfish. For the second picture they are the same fruit and have the same dipping sauce as untitled 2 for the second one.The only difference in the second picture is I did two strawberries instead of just one and the chocolate sauce is not dripping as much as the one picture I took of the strawberry and it has more chocolate on it than the photographers strawberry. Also my the difference with my picture is that my strawberries are turned a little than having it straight out. For my last picture with the Dove chocolate all of it is pretty different. I have the same brand but with the picture I took it is Milk Chocolate instead of Dark Chocolate and instead of having the wrapper being red it is blue. Also I didn't make my wrapper as crankily as the untitled 1 is.
7. Personal Artist Statement: I chose these pictures to take because they are so creative in making these photographs and give so much detail even though it looks so simple and easy to make. I chose these because these photos are so creative and think out of the box. I also chose these pictures to take because these a few of my favorite snacks to eat. I also chose these pictures because they describe how you can make something so simple and turn it into something very unique and different and having it turned into a different perspective and showing the types of styles you can create with these images. These photos make it come alive and say something so great about them with its beauty.
